I wanted to cosplay Kasumi from Dead or Alive for a long time, I will finally do it. 8D I'll be making the blue outfit from DOA5 first and maybe a couple more. I really love her ponytail hair style.

About this wig, it's kinda a cheap wig from eBay that was too bright orange for my taste, so I had to dye it. I used fabric dye method(where you boil hot water, and put the dye and stuff, and the wig in like cooking XD ) so after the dyeing procress, because of the heat of the water, the wig will be very tangled and messy. I fixed it by using an afro pik comb to carefully brush out the fibers starting from the end tips and work my way up. After brushing out everything, I used flat iron on low heat to iron the wig. It's a long process but it can be fun. After that, I just used some got2b smoothing lustre lotion to rub in the hair fibers. It helps fix the dry coarse hair to be soft and voluminous again. I highly recommend for people who own a long wig. It's great stuff! It also helps prevent wig hair from being tangled easily. :)

Anyways, I spent alot of time on the makeup for this one. I think I improved with girl makeup a bit from last time. I tried to imitate Kasumi's looks from the 3D cutscenes from the game. She has such flawless skin and face structure. *A*

Is this wig you got on ebay 80cm long? Do you have any advices on how to cut the bangs?(I want to cosplay a male version of Kasumi)

I believe is it 80cm. I still had to trim it after putting it in a ponytail. For the bangs, you can cut in layers a bit. Cut it vertically at places so it's more natural. I did tease the roots under the bangs to make it have more volume as well.

Omg that looked like a hot mess after the dye method. lol But it looks great. Really great. D':

I love wig styling but I'm still learning. I have to figure out Ichinose Tokiya spikes. It's ok but it could be better. And I probably need new hairspray or gel. I'm not sure what is the difference between both. -_-;
